OK, so it took us over four years, but we finally have a statement of purpose on
our web site. Look for the link called "About Elecraft" on our home page (scroll
down from the K1/K2 photo). 

This page provides a quick history of how the company started, not to mention
*why* the company was started, and is a good place to aim anyone who says "Ele-what?"
