Choose one (all MY PERSONAL OPINIONS):

1) If you will always want just a QRP rig:

I like the KAT2 tuner. It gives you a tremendous amount of flexibility -- you
can take your K2 anywhere and use almost anything for an antenna. The internal
battery is nice, also.

2) If you will want a 100-watt home station or mobile rig:

Either the KPA100, the SSB adapter, the noise blanker, or the 160-meter option
would be a good next step. You won't want the KIO2 computer interface since
this functionality is included in the KPA100.

3) If you want a 'convertible' for home station and portable use:

You can get any of the options. When you get your KPA100, you can either keep
two lids for the K2, switching the between the high-power amp and the
KAT2/Internal battery combination, or you can put the KPA100 (and perhaps a
KAT100) in a separate enclosure, and then just unplug the QRP part when you go
camping.
