Terry's idea with the hat is good (hi). But select your next options 
according to your tendencies/prefenences.

- Have you a tuner?
   No. Build the Tuner.
- Do you prefer SSB?
   Yes? Build the SSB modul.
- Do you want a second antenna jack or operating on 160 meters?
   No? Leave the modul out.
- How operate you? Portabel?
   Use the battery and/or the clock.
- ...
