No, the Elecraft K2 does not have a notch filter. But Randy Hargenrader, 
WJ4P, designed a notch and bandpass filter for the K2. Both filters are in 
one IC. He described the circuit in the QRP Quarterly January 2001 from the 
ARCI. The circuit uses an IC LTC1059 (filter), an IC TL555 (clock for the 
filter) and an IC LM3900 (amplifier for inputs and outputs). Please contact

article. I have only the translation which we re-published in our German 
QRP magazine "QRP-Report".
