Well, it does 'do' something though... it still sets the secondary VFO to 
the freq of the primary VFO, in preparation of using SPLIT.

What'd be neat would be to have it beep if you tuned the primary VFO while 
in SPLIT, to tell you that you were only moving the RX freq. But then, it'd 
do it any time you happened to une at all... maybe something like beeping 
if you tuned more than 2kHz away from the previously set freq on RX.

Heheh... yep that's a problem... More recently, I find myself using RIT 
more for 'close-in RX freq excursions and SPLIT for those times when 
there's a difference >1kHz.
