Hi
The noise generator makes an excellent signal source for signal injecting or
signal tracing. I like the signal injection method the best.

Subject: [Elecraft] Question on signal tracing
Hello All,
While waiting for a replacement RFC 13 for my K2 (I broke the first one), I
read farther in the manual about signal tracing.
The manual suggests using a circuit with a 10 Mhz crystal, however earlier I
purchased one of the broadband noise generator board from the Arizona
Sqrpions ( because I always knew I'd get a K2 sooner or later). My question
is this: Can the broadband noise generator used for setting filters also do
adequate duty for signal tracing, or should I get a 10 Mhz crystal and build
the suggested circuit?
