[Elecraft] CW Program

I have used, and purchased, CWGet and CWType. These programs work
excellently, and I find that CWGet is the best CW decoder I've tried... it
blows away other multi-mode programs like MixW.

When I first became licensed I didn't have it, and spent the first few
months with my license doing CW exclusively. I started running HF digital
modes about 8 months into my license (once I got the KSB2 up and running),
and very seldom operated CW (and then only while running a decoding
program). I found that my code copying speed dropped dramatically and now
I'm having to work to get back up to where I was (15wpm or so fairly easily,
now 10 wpm).

Because I want to improve my code copying speed, I generally run it under a
Notepad window, where I try decoding the incoming code, and use the 'fill'
from CWGet to help me over any rough spots. I run it from a stereo cable
inserted into the headphone jack enough to get a signal for the computer but
not so far as to cut off the K2's internal speaker. I have also banished my
Omni VI and am using my K2 exclusively until my code copying gets back up to
snuff and I can hold a QSO without having to refer to the CWGet window.

Summary: CWGet works... maybe too well!
