Correct!

A bit too high... the K2 'wants' to see 14.1 to 14.3 VDC at it's POWER JACK 
(not on the display, the K2 display will generally indicate about 0.4 to 
0.6 V LESs than that appearing at the power jack). This allows the battery 
to charge, but not overcharge.

"12V" is a generic term used for just about all power supplies which will 
suffice for running equipment designed to be run from an automotive 
battery, or similar power source.
