[Elecraft] KIO2 Aux I/O Module Troubleshooting

I am in the process of performing the Serial Interface Test for the KIO2 =
Aux I/O Module as outlined on page 14 of the Instructions. The K2 seems =
to send the correct info to
HyperTerminal, but when I enter "SW01;" the K2 does not respond with a =
band
change. I know that my K2 to Computer Cable and HyperTerminal are setup
correctly because when I perform the same test with the KPA100 installed
using its I/O port, the K2 both sends and receives data as specified. I =
have
checked both boards for shorts, ohmed out the data cable between the =
KIO2
PCB and the AUX2 PCB, all component values were double checked. Same =
results using both my laptop and desktop computers. The control board =
mod shouldn't be the problem as all works correctly when the KPA100 I/O =
port is used. Any ideas on what the problem might be?
