Someone else posted this sam eproblem earlier... maybe yesterday, to be 
precise...

There is an error in the Rev D K2 manual.

Previous to the Rev D manual, J1-3 was grounded. However, with the 
appearance of the K2 AF Gain Mod, J1-3 is no longer grounded, but the VOL3 
line which connects to U9-3 on the RF board, and which SHOULD show a high 
resistance!

Press on... you're doing great so far.
