Bob- thanks for the reply. If I'm not misinterpreting the schematic
incorrectly, Pin 3 on J1 on FP board connects to the audio pot wiper (middle
pin). J1 pin 3 then goes off to the RF board, and ultimately the control
board. When making resistance measurements as indicated on page 27 in the
manual, I believe (unless I've missed something here) that the resistance
measurement to ground on the FP board from J1 pin 3 should be infinite, and
not zero ohms. I'd agree, once the RF board and Control boards are
connected, then I would expect zero ohms.
I'm thinking that the stated resistance value in the manual on page 27
should read > 1M ohm rather than zero ohms when measured to ground on the FP
board, with the board disconnected from everything.
If I'm incorrect here, I'll need to go back and recheck everything, but to
be honest I have no idea what to look for.
