When testing circuits with transistors or other active "junctions" in
them, the resistance you see may vary a lot depending upon the polarity
and voltage your meter applies to it. In those situations, the manual
usually shows the lower range of what you might expect in the "worst
case" meter situation.

Dave for what it's worth. I just did my first test on the RF board last
nite and I too had very high readings. 

I don't profess to know why they are so high there but mine passed the
smoke test FB! 

I'm still grinning about how cool it was to see the LCD light up and
give me all the right displays.

I would wait until one of the more knowledgable people answer your
question, but, based on my experience you are probably good to go.
