Right, Randy. It's a matter of terminology. 

You are using the CW filters on the main r-f board, which you can switch
in as you like for receiving in SSB mode.
 
The SSB Filter I was taking about is the filter on the SSB module that
is designed specifically for SSB use. It is not adjustable. It is always
the filter used for transmit, no matter what filter is selected for
receive. 

I use a CW filter for SSB receive for PSK31 with the bandwidth set to
400 Hz, as I mentioned.

For receive, I don't believe its correct to say the SSB filter bandwidth
is not adjustable.  I have my FL2, FL3 and FL4 all set to 2.0 kHz and
set to different places in the bandpass to approximate bandpass
shifting.
