[Elecraft] Help, I think I've killed my K1

If this is the case then those who have the K2/100 should not be putting
their rig on top of the matching tuner.  Seems to me that no one has
complained of any problems with that configuration.  Also the matching tuner
(FC-20)  for the new Yaesu FT-897 attaches to the side of the rig.  What
about internal antenna tuners?

I would agree that this would be a problem at power levels in the KW range.
