[Elecraft] ARRL DX CW contest

Well I think I had a pretty successful contest even though I only
operated for a total of 20 hrs out of the 48.  The majority of the off
time was 0500-1430Z so I missed major portions, especially for 40 and 80.

I did manage a total of 289 QSOs with 158 multipliers for 136986 in the
Low All category.  Picked up 33 new countries.  All exchanges were sent
by hand with a straight key.  Near the end my wrist and arm began to
cramp up and I was down to 10 wpm and making frequent mistakes.

Next year I need to spend more time on 80 meters.  Each new multiplier
there (I had only one) would have meant about 900 more points each.  I
also need to get the logging program fully interfaced with the K2 so it
can send the exchanges.

The K2 performed flawlessly.  I used a 250Hz filter with AF1 and had no
problems copying the weak ones even with strong stations nearby in
frequency.

For my first ever semi-serious attempt at a CW contest, I thought it went
very well.

Anyone who worked me can add K2/100 #2221 to their logs.
