The main difference in the AGC functionality for me is
that with the K1 AGC it's easier to get a proper S value by ear. 
The K2 AGC works so effective that a signal between a S2 and S9
is most of the time at the same audio level. If there is no
noise on the band its hard to detect that the signal is a weak signal.
But I think that this a feature of the K2, not a failure hi.
