Andreas,
I recommend you do the voltage tests first, then if you find nothing - go on
with the signal tracing.
In addition to the signal tracing outlined in the manual, you may want to
take a look at the K2 Quick 'n Dirty Signal Tracing Suggestions by Tom

I backed everything up.  Receiver stays dead.  Adjusting RF gain does
not change the S meter either.

I have never done signal tracing before.  What would you guys recommend?
Should I start cross-checking the DC values with the DC table or do the
signal tracing first (both methods described in the K2 manual)?  Other
ideas?

Only equipment here is DMM and K2's FCTR.
