[Elecraft] receiver broken

I backed everything up. Receiver stays dead. Adjusting RF gain does
not change the S meter either.
I have never done signal tracing before. What would you guys recommend?
Should I start cross-checking the DC values with the DC table or do the
signal tracing first (both methods described in the K2 manual)? Other
ideas? =20
Only equipment here is DMM and K2's FCTR.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I suggest "backing up". Disconnect the KPA100 completely and re-install
the original firmware. Run CAL PLL and see if you got normal operation.=20
As you get ready to switchback to the original firmware, look very
closely at the i-cs you installed. It is amazingly easy to bend one of
the pins UNDER the socket so it looks like it is seated until you study
it very closely.=20
If you don't have a bent pin and if you regain normal operation, the try
again... but don't replace the KPA100 connections until you verify
normal K2 operation to keep as many variables out of the picture as you
can.

...K2 run just fine yesterday during contest. Today, I built the KPA100
and succeeded with all tests until KPA receiver tests. Then I noticed
the receiver is dead, really dead. No birdies. So, I unplugged all the
KPA cables and hoped for a signal, but nothing. ...
