Daniel,
Most computers use a VGA connection to their monitors. Your VCR probably
has a composite output (usually a RCA-type jack that is yellow, with the
audio being the same type, red and white)
Unless your monitor has a composite input, you probably won't be able to go
directly from the VCR to the computer monitor.
If you have a video capture card, you could take the video output from the
VCR to the computer capture card, then display it on the monitor. Most
capture cards now days are the newer "Firewire" types, rather than the older
analog composite types. I have a card that can do both, but it was an
expensive add-on, so your computer probably doesn't have that type of card.
Some of the newer computer video cards have composite and S-video adaptors
built in. I'm not sure if those are just output, or if they allow input as
well. Check to see if you have one of those.

Hi,
Anyone up at this late hour who could tell me how to hook my audio/video
from VCR up to my computer monitor?
