I believe that you are right, Martin. 

It was my understanding that mod, the so-called 2nd Xfil Flattening Mod,
was incorporated in the r-f board for S/N 3000 and up.

I am installing the SSB option in to my K2 S/N 3021.  Enclosed with the
SSB kit was an errata sheet Rev C-2, August 30, 2001.

At the bottom of the errata sheet is a section entitled "LSB/USB Receive
Pitch Equalization".  It recommends the following of an application

As I examine my RF board and compare it to the pix in this mod, it seems
that this mod has been incorporated in to the RF PCB that I have.  I'd
just like to confirm that I do not need to execute this mod on my K2 or
take any other action in relation to LSB/USB pitch equalization.
