Has anyone tried the 'Split/RIT' LED mod as detailed on Tom Hammond's
site.

 I have tried a lash-up but am loathe to drill a hole in the K2 front
panel.  I have  toyed with the
idea of trying a rectangular type of LED located at the edge of the
display backlight but have
been too busy with other things lately. Would appreciate other's
thoughts on this.
