[Elecraft] Electronics of Radio by Rutledge [Norcal 40A]

This book uses the Norcal 40A circuitry to illustrate how
things work. Has anyone on the List read and enjoyed this?

As a precursor to Elecraft designs, I was wondering if
taking a look at this book would help me understand and troubleshoot
my ailing newly-built K2. 

A coworker here has a 40A and I tried it out several years ago,
but beyond that I know little about the rig -- but am hoping 
similarities will help me follow the K2 circuits. 

My brother has a copy, so I will borrow it shortly.
