No flaming intended.... Sometimes you just can't get it back. It does =
break
down and deteriorate so it's not like pollution of the worst kind. I =
don't
advocate leaving either, but being practical, it could happen. It is
lighter and more efficient.

You're advocating leaving antenna wire in the environment?! I'm
misunderstanding, right? You don't mean, like, taking a hike, casting =
your
antenna wire into a tree, operating, then disconnecting the wire from =
your
rig and just walking away leaving the wire in the tree because "it isn't
practical to pull it out".
Do you also advocate just throwing garbage on the ground wherever you =
go? I
hope not. There are any number of ways to install temporary wire =
antennas
and be able to remove them when you're through. That is a necessary =
part of
any temporary operation.
Sorry if I'm being a bit hard here, but this isn't how I'd like the =
world's
population treating the planet we all share.
