You're advocating leaving antenna wire in the environment?! I'm
misunderstanding, right? You don't mean, like, taking a hike, casting your
antenna wire into a tree, operating, then disconnecting the wire from your
rig and just walking away leaving the wire in the tree because "it isn't
practical to pull it out".
Do you also advocate just throwing garbage on the ground wherever you go? I
hope not. There are any number of ways to install temporary wire antennas
and be able to remove them when you're through. That is a necessary part of
any temporary operation.
Sorry if I'm being a bit hard here, but this isn't how I'd like the world's
population treating the planet we all share.
