[Elecraft] Antenna for Travels?

If I were going back to Thailand I would use a dipole or wire. The wire
would include a liberal amount of magnet wire, #30, and some alligator =
clips
attached. I would then toss it over nearby objects and be prepared to
abandon the wire and re-toss when you moved. I used this in the states
successfully and it would definitely work there as well. I can think of
numerous places/objects to toss over. I would not haul the other =
antennas:
less efficient, too large, too visible and distracting.

You might want to provide more info:

o Which rig?
o Internal (or external) ATU or not?
o Bands you plan to operate?
o What are your DX expectations?
o Wire antennas (e.g., dipoles, wire fed against a counterpoise) not=20
considered?
o Single location or moving from day to day?
