Why not a simple wire dipole, if such an antenna can be installed where you
are going? A dipole is cheap, simple, easy to pack, and *most* importantly
will outperform all these overpriced loading coil short vertical antennas
eighteen hundred ways to Sunday!
For my travel antenna, I use a wire dipole with insulators and jumpers
spaced so that I can get a resonant antenna from 10 through 40 meters, just
by connecting the appropriate jumpers across the insulators.
For my travel HF antenna needs, I spent years and wasted a lost of money and
time trying verticals, loops, random length center-feds, etc. and found none
of them came close to the simple resonant dipole in performance and ease of
use.
