Paul,

I suggest that you do not clip the stems off for the toroids in the KAT2 -
ork with them according to the instructions in the manual and all will be
well.

The stem on the insulator for L33 was clipped off for an entirely different
reason - with the resistor across the top of the toroid (providing both
mounting strength and leads to solder the fine wires), the stem would
interfere with placing the resistor properly.
