Well... not really.

It can HELP, but if the builder still has the BFO frequencies set on the 
wrong side of the filter center, as a jump of 2kHz tends to imply, 
Spectrogram will NOT fix this problem... because it only looks at audio 
frequency and you can get the SAME audio note with the BFO on either side 
of the filter center, BUT it won't 'jump' if it's on the proper side.
