Yes- that's WAY too much power for a basic K2.=20
I asked because the K2/100 defaults to about 20 watts output in "TUNE". =
It
shouldn't go to that much power when the POWER control is below 10 =
watts,
but it would have pointed to a power control problem rather than =
something
more drastic.=20

Having just been there, I'd recommend removing and rewinding T4. I
believe the links were causing the problem, I ended up putting them
in=20
*before* installing the transformer, keeping the routing pretty
similar=20
on both sides and generally keeping everything as symmetric as
possible.=20
I admit that I may have mis-wound T4.
