[Elecraft] K2's CW Receive Audio vs K1's

Hello all,

                First time posting to this list after reading it for 
probably two years.

                Completed K2 S/N 3,614 a few weeks ago, all went well, 
receiver/transmitter and so on. Problem is the CW receive audio is nothing 
like the K1 I built last year. For a filter setting of say 800hz in the K1 
and 800hz in the K2, the K2's audio has nothing but base in it. Didn't know 
better I'd say it had the equivalent of a bad cold, stuffed up... K1 is 
nice, crisp and clear.

                Gary suggested I check voltages on U4 and all is well.

                Ran it through spectrogram and all seems normal. It's set to 
the recommended settings in the manual. BFO's/CAL FIL/filters and so on. 
Only option is the 160M one.
