I didn't do it, but I came THIS close!  When I built the KPA100 I 
actually had a computer-type RS232 cable plugged in, but something made 
me read the manual before turning it on.

I am sure W & E agonized about this, but considering that these K2s will 
last a long time and be in hands other than those of the original 
builder, I think that a different connector than the DB9 (perhaps some 
kind of DIN connector) should be used.
