You appear to have it there.
I disconnected the antenna from the K2 and hooked up the computer
as in test 4 and there was an acceptable (very low) level of computer hash.
The computer itself doesn't get into the K2 unless the serial line is connected
at both ends. While I was feeding the test K2 antenna with coax cable, the
antenna itself was physically close to the computer and rig. I will tried
again with a more distant antenna and the problem went away.
The words at the top of page 18 in the KIO2 manual suddenly make
a lot more sense...
