[Elecraft] R14 on KSB2 Board

Reading the mail on the SSB improvement thread and was curious to one of the 
postings about changing out R14 from 1k to 6.8k when used with a Heil HC4 
mic element.  I use a BM5 with a HC4 element and did notice that it was 
really difficult to make the VOX trip but for 'tests I use a foot switch 
anyway.  My question is, should I replace R14 with one of a larger value for 
improved performance with the BM5/HC4 combination?
