[Elecraft] Circuit Board Soldering Question

One question though; In the manual the instructions say to insert several
components and then solder all of them at once. After building several other
projects I have found that placing one piece and then soldering it seems to
work better and stop mistakes. My question, is there any reason for not
doing it this way?

The only reason is time. If you don't mind taking the time, one component
at a time is the way to do it. I firmly believe that I would rather spend a
lot of hours building rather than a lot of days (or weeks) trying to find a
mistake.

I ususally install several components at a time. Say four or five. But I
*carefully* count the number of leads that need to be soldered as I do it.
Then, I count the number of leads I have soldered. If it does not come out
the same, then I start looking for the solder joint that I have missed. I
have not had an unsoldered joint on any project since I have started doing
this.
