[Elecraft] KIO2 and Increased Reciever Noise Products?

I'm thinking of building and installing a KIO2 so 
I can hook my K2 up to the computer.  I was 
wondering how much, if any, noise the KIO2 
generates.  Is it very noticable?  Is it 
generated by the unit itself or does it enter the 
receiver from the computer?  I like the idea of 
controlling the K2 from the computer, but don't 
want to compromise the performance of my K2's 
receiver section (with which I'm currently very 
satisfied).
