I guess, then, the K2 would have to be a seven course meal at Maxim's in 
Paris :-)  You did not leave a lot of headroom above the K1!

I thought long and hard about buying the KX1, having the 4-band K1.  My 
final decision was due to:

o I wanted to build one
o I like the broad receive capability
o It's cute in concept and execution.

I may even backpack with it someday.  But I've always found the primary 
limition in camping, hotel  and BP apps to be not power but a suitable 
antenna and way to suspend it.  Getting the swr to 1.0:1 or so does not 
ensure it will get out.  Would it were so:  The DL-1 would then be a 
great travel antenna :-)
