[Elecraft] Panavise Recommendations?

I know some of you have a panavise to help you do your circuit board
assembly and soldering, because I've seen some in the pictures posted. (like
the one here: http://www.qsl.net/pa3cev/DSCN1506.jpg)  I want one, but I'm a
bit confused as to what I really need to get.  It looks like there is a
circuit board clamp, but is that really a lot better than just the standard
clamp, which would seem a lot more versatile for other tasks.

I'd love to have some recommendations regarding bases, clamps, and even
other brands which serve the same purpose.
