Received another email From the MixW folks. The VB programs on the website
are downloadable and can be implemented with other softward to control PTT,
CW the keyer and wav files. But when I asked them how the other programs
KNOW HOW to get the audio and send the audio through the MixWRE, the reply
was they probably "don't know how."
I kind of suspect this is similar to a USB Sound card with lots of
additional capabilites and functions and if that is the case, should not the
audio input and output be selectable through the mixer?
So apparently, though this seems like a nice but pricey interface, it will
only work digimodes with MixW and Digipan. Not worth the $200 to be so
limited, though MixW is a nice program.

The USB fee is *only* if you want to use the USB logo. Otherwise, there is
no fee. I suspect the price is based on the functionality of the device (2
serial ports plus a soundcard plus a rigblaster equivalent all in a very
small box), the time/cost to develop it, coupled with the expected small
market.
