[Elecraft] Antenna considerations (what to do?)

Dick,
I have looked at the Titanex antennas web pages before and although a rugged
looking antenna, I feel the stainless conductor is not as good an antenna
material as you could make yourself.  Just hang a vertical dipole for
whatever band you can, say 20m and center feed it with parallel line, and at
the Elecraft rig, tune it with a simple balun.  No need for the kW tuning
box, or expensive antenna.

For multibanding, you could parallel at least two other vertical dipoles to
the one you are feeding, as a sleeve excited antenna system as patented by
Gary Breed, former editor of R. F. Design magazine which presented the
horizontal version of this.

Besides, you built the rig, why not build the simple part, the antenna?
