I worked a lot of contests using just the memory buttons on the K2,
long before I started computer logging.
Use the Fast Play menu setting so you can use single-button action
for the memories, and off you go.
Is this what you were asking?

Hi - well my computer went south so while I'm figuring out what to do as far
as replacing it, repairing it or some sort of hybrid of both, I was
wondering if anyone is sending CW automatically with their K2.  If so, is
their anything I should know about connecting the rig to the PC, I have
several software packages, mostly loggers and contest software that will
send, but I've never tried it.  I do have the  KIO2, which is doing a FB
job.
