Not according to the description of the KIO2 on the Elecraft site.  
Looks like you'd use the 12V connections, since the KIO2 provides true 
RS232 levels, not TTL (5V) levels like some (most) rigs.

Since most serial ports normally use just 3 lines, it probably will 
work, as long as you can set the correct baud rate and stop bits (and 
voltage levels).  I've read on this reflector that you need to make sure 
the other pins on the connector going to the KIO2 are NOT wired to 
anything, i.e., just wire up TXD, RXD, and ground.  But I don't have a 
KIO2, so perhaps someone with more direct experience can give you better 
advice.
