[Elecraft] Computer control question

I am strongly considering this all-in-one interface called a MixW Rig
Expert.  It provides CAT, CW and PTT all from one unit through only one USB
port from the computer.  Doesn't even use the computer's sound card.  The
DB25 on the back has connections for everything needed.  There are two sets
of RXD and TXD connections, one each for 12V and 5V lines, not sure which
the K2 needs though I think it's the 5V lines.

The KIO2 DB9 to the computer only uses 3 lines, TXD, RXD and ground.  Does
anyone see any conflicts in interfacing to this unit?  Information on it is
on the below website.

It sure seems like a great way to go provided other software programs
support it.  The website provides VB scripts for CW and PTT control.  I
believe CAT control is just through a USB communications Driver that assigns
a COM port to the USB.
