Me, too. In the years 1954 and 1955 I averaged over 5000 CW qsos (back 
then we had to log all).

In the 90s I bought a CMOS SuperKeyer II and got a bit comfortable with 
it.  It feels pretty much like Mode B to me, so that is what I use..

I still prefer a hand key and have some good ones.  But the reality is 
that arthritis has taken its toll, and I cannot use the HK comfortably 
for long.  So the trade is physical discomfort with the HK vs. mental 
discomfort with the paddle :-)
