Yes this applies to the K2 as well. What is needed is also a Mode C 
for those of us who detest iambic mode and struggle with the more 
commonly used twin paddles. Mode C would be Iambic OFF and would 
ignore the second paddle if pressed while the first was pressed such 
that it would be impossible to activate any form of iambic 
'intelligence'. This would allow a twin paddle to be used as if it 
were a straight paddle.

I have changed my K2 to mode B to see if it helps with my occasional 
miskeying when I accidentally press before releasing the first 
paddle. I will see if it helps with 'non iambic' keying.

I hear a lot of badly sent morse on the air coming from those who 
clearly cannot use iambic mode. Iambic is obviously very useful for 
those who have mastered it, but with over 30 years of CW experience I 
am definitely still not in that category!
