[Elecraft] A K2 board layout-enhancement suggestion.

I seem to be spending most of my construction time just finding where =
the parts go. Especially the capacitors.=20

It occurred to me that if there were an addendum, on a separate sheet, =
and laid out like a map, identifying parts placement would be easier.=20

Example: If the main board was separated into a grid, like a map, with =
x-axis 'A' through 'E' and y-axis 1-5, one could specify: install C59, =
0.1 (104) in B3. Your "looking" area would be greatly minimized, yes?=20

Each "grid-square" could have the components in that square listed at =
the bottom of the square, or separately.=20

I am currently unable to understand the layout convention, but I'm sure =
by the time I finish, I'll have a good idea.

The suggestions in the manual "C99 is on the top right of the board" are =
just great if you gon't have the board in upside-down or sideways =
working on a specific area.

I realize there isn't an overwhelming number of components to search =
for, but narrowing it down to 1/8th of the board should save time and =
wouldn't be a difficult or costly addition.=20

If it's already there, I'm guilty of not reading the whole manual.=20

If it's not, I offer it as an enhancement (IMHO) to an absolutely GREAT =
assembly manual.

What do you think? Not necessary? Redundant? Just keep looking, Dave, =
you'll find it?
