[Elecraft] Keying speed?

Does anyone know how accurate the speed settings for CW are on the K2?  A friend of 
mine was testing his K2 by sending text and then later determining how fast the 18 
wpm setting allowed him to send.  His results implied at 19.8 wpm speed.  I think this is 
fantastic because I'm the one trying to improve my code speed to somewhere near the 
rest of this group.  I am never sure of my speed unless I am copying W1AW on one of 
their code practice sessions.  I figure I'll need to get past 30 wpm to be able to copy 
you all.  At the very least I want to lose the appellation assigned to me of 'Extra Lite'.   
I will take the old 20 wpm Extra class code test sometime during the next year.  Then 
maybe I can really start working on my code speed.
 
Can anyone tell me how their keyer setting correlates with W1AW or some other 
absolute measure?
