[Elecraft] New article: detailed history of the KX1 transceiver

The Adventure Radio Society (ARS) just posted my article about the KX1, which
should be interesting reading for anyone curious about the genesis of this rig
and related designs:

Their members regulary take radios on camping, hiking, bicycling, and boating
expeditions, etc. There are great stories and photos on the site. They also
sponsor the "Spartan Sprint," a monthly contest that has winners in two
categories: most points period, and most points per pound of station weight.
It's great fun, and just the sort of thing the KX1 excels at  ;)
