[Elecraft] K2 3547 speaker/audio jack problem

Hi all,
 
Here's a technical question:
 
This morning K2 #3547 started having a minor problem.  When I plug in the headphones into the front panel audio jack the internal speaker does not disable itself.  When I plug something into the ext. speaker jack on the back of the rig (with KPA100 installed) then the internal speaker does cut out.  An obvious and easy temporary workaround is to simply unplug the internal speaker at P5, which I did.  Of course now I cannot use the internal speaker.
 
I consulted the schematics online and I'm wondering if this problem could be do to faults in R35/36 or C105/106 on the RF board, or if the only real possibility is that J2 is not functioning properly and needs to be replaced.  I am currently portable TI7/N1KO and I don't have lots of test equipment and tools at my disposal here, otherwise I would've investigated more thoroughly before posting.
 
If J2 needs to be replaced that will definitely wait until I get home.
