[Elecraft] OT: getting shack on network

All,

I have my network moved into the shack also with a LinkSys setup.  I use a 
Linksis Wireless Access Point (WAP-11)and a PCMCIA card in my Red Hat Linux 
laptop the Linksys WPC11.  This sets up the connection great at about 11 Mb 
from the cable router, but I also made sure that I changed the default 
settings on the WAP-11 and I run an encrypted link as well.  That prevents 
unauthorized access and/listening.  This is particularly important because I 
sometimes work from home and thus am accessing the machines at work as well 
(over a VPN link).  

Mine seems to have no effect (birdies, etc.) on my radios at HF and none on 2 
meter SSB as well.
