please do not misunderstand me - I did not mean to say that Elecraft, or
for that matter TenTec, is in any way being dishonest. It was supposed
to be a tounge in cheek comment about the fact that often due, sometimes
fine differences in methodology, varying results will occur. Or to say
it in German: Wer misst misst mist.

Of course almost any business will tend to use the test results and/or
marketing which is most satisfactory for its products. In other words,
if the K2 had not tested as well as it has, I doubt you would publish
such a detailed comparison page.

I have being wondering about numbers which TenTec has been claiming -
they do look fascinating - but for good reason (non-pecuniary ) I built
a second K2 and did not buy an Orion. I hope to see the review when it
comes out. Sometimes I get lucky and get to see american ham mags.
